Five tenants were on Friday arraigned before an Ikorodu Customary Court, charged with defecating around the house they rented. The defendants – Jude Ugbo (41), Joseph Oken (41), Emeka Uzoka (42), Oladunni Kayode (39) and Ndoka Ikoro (39) — all residents of 14, Rilwan St, Ikorodu, are facing a three-count charge of failure to provide toilets and bathroom in the house. The defendants pleaded guilty to the charges but claimed that the landlord failed to provide toilet facilities in the apartment.
