Enugu State University of Science and Technology, (ESUT) on Thursday announced the immediate expulsion of about 544 students. The affected students were alleged to have secured what was termed as illegal admission into various faculties in the institution. Most of the affected students were said to be in their final year. Serious tension has gripped the university community as most of the affected students have threatened a showdown with some of the university officials who reportedly facilitated their illegal admission into the institution.
